(In a future world devastated by disease, a convict is sent back in time to gather information about the man-made virus that wiped out most of the human population on the planet.) Excellent flick. John McClane and Tyler Durden at their finest.
far better than the SCI-fy crap on tv that stole the film's story gone now for 2 seasons even the idea of punching up season 2 reevolts me done twice don't make it any better
I saw this for the first time a few weeks ago. After watching it I was upset with myself for not seeing it sooner...it was really good and will keep you guessing. A classic for sure.
I particularly liked how well Willis portrays the "deranged" time traveler. He plays an excellent crazy guy. Great flick with a lot of cool themes. I always felt it was underappreciated since I never saw people in mainstream discuss it. I would definitely put it up there with other greats like Seven and Fight Club.
Fuck. Yes. I need to watch this again now. I'm a big fan of Terry Gilliam going back to his Monty Python days. He's an example of evolution. Sent from my SM-N950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I was in France at the time 12 monkeys is based of the french 'La Jetée' a very similar story 27min and Gillians view 60secs
I turned it on the night I read this thread and made my wife watch it with me. She liked the beginning but we never got to finish it
