hey guys, just got some bagseed germinated and planted. the Setup's pretty simple 1x 23 6500k cfl, 2x 23 5500k, and 1x 23 2700k on 4 plants, will choose best one or keep all 4, not sure? 2 intake cfm fans and 2 exhause cfm fans. temperture is averaging 88F and humidity at 30. Again this is my first legit grow and just looking for any tips from growers on here, know theres alot ;).

plan is, have them veg for 3-4 weeks then switch to 12/12 for 5 weeks. Hows that sound to you guys?

Some pics of my babies, my growbox, what i plan to smoke my harvest with, and some recent DANK pick up :D.

more pictures and updates to come :)

PS. i really need advice on nutes, havent bought any cuz places only carry MG but there are a few hydro shops i plan to visit..

You'll have to let them flower for way longer than just 3 weeks....I'd plan on letting them veg for about 4 weeks or so and flower for around 8-10 weeks.

As far as nutrients you can get the Fox Farm trio online and it comes with a feeding schedule.

  3. 88 degrees is to hot, I would try to find a way to get the temps down. 77 degrees is the ideal grow temp.

  4. Thats a good looking setup, all I gotta say is make all 4 of those fans into exhaust, have a appropriately sized passive intake and maintain a negative pressure, that'll bring down the temps fasho!!!

  5. @SHONOFF98 damn does flowering really take that long? but if does then thats not a problem was just hoping on some quick harvest haha. Also fox farm would be wonderful but unless i can buy that at my local hydro shop cuz online isnt an option really.

@tplat agreed 88 is way too hot. Im planning on putting a little fan in there to help with circulation, also fixing the adapter i have on 2 of the fans since they arent 12v, the fans arent working at their potential level, Doing this should help i hope.

@Danyul thanks man took a couple tries to finally build THIS sucker lol. i havent really considered making a passive since im afraid not enough air will come into the box lol, unless im just trippin

    UPDATE:

A little bit of growth on all four, new leaf sets are coming in :D. its so exciting seeing a plant grow, who said watching "grass" grow was boring ha. temperture should be cooling down soon once i get a fan in there. Besides that not much going on, waiting for soil to dry out quite a bit to give em a good showering. Still not sure on nutes yet :/, any advice would be hopeful, like wat kind of nutes to use if online ordering was out of the question. any advice or suggestion is greatly apperciated.

picture of girlies at the bottom, do they look healthy? :/

  6. UPDATE:

all 4 plants show good progress so far, new leaf sets are forming :). Just watered them, until the runoff came out. Still havent added any nutes, hoping the Black Gold organic soil will last a little longer since its derived from worm castings. Besides that not much going on, temperture still pretty high at 85min and 91max :/, humidity around 27-30. Hopefully when i put a fan in there things will cool down a bit and also gotta light proof the box.

Heres a picture of the girlies, please help diagnose them if u can :) (clicking on picture will make it alot bigger)

  7. Unfortunately the process can take anywhere from 3-6 months from seed to smoking it...shits not fast especially if u want some good bud. If there is a grow store nearby they should have the Fox Farm nutrients, if not they should be able recommend a good brand that they carry.

  9. The two little round starter leaves and the single bladed leaves will eventualy die off, its totaly normal. The light green at the center of each seedling is new growth and looks fine to me.

  10. nice to hear, had me worried wheww thank you :)

  11. UPDATE:

Growing nicely :), sadly still havent had any nutes in em or on hand for that matter. temperture is still at 87-90, bad i no, trying to get my hands on a fan been busy lately :smoke: :p. besides that all good for these girlies.

Two things i was thinking but need some opinions on, switch the 2 big cfm fans on the side from intake to exhaust (already have 2 exhaust at the top tho..) so?

and also should i be worrying about transplanting them now? i was thinking, hell no tho, its too early but one of em is show short that the fans dont have room to stretch but it is getting its second set of leafs tho. guess i should be happy since i wanted short plants lol

lemme no wat u think :)

  12. No nutes for the first several weeks or untill you see the first real set or two sets of 3 bladed leaves and you dont need to transplant untill you see roots starting to come out of the bottom drain holes.

    UPDATE:

all 4 plants seem to be doing nicely not much going on besides leaf growth, the tallest one seems to be sloopy maybe from the box being too hot? Got a fan in there now so hopefully itll be more circulation thus equaling lowered tempertures. Also made myself a little door too lol. the thing is no where near lightproof, suggestions or tips on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Let me know what u guys think..

second last picture is box closed and last picture is box open :hello:

  15. can anyone tell me why my plants are drooping? :(

  16. Several things can make a plant droopy such as heat or under watering. 81 degrees isnt bad, better then what you had before. A good humidity range is 30-50%, placing a small bowl of water infront of the fan may help.

  17. damn heat and underwatering, two things i was fearing would be the cause. I water my plants occasionally when the soil is REALLY dry, should i continue doing this? heat is still getting bad, sometimes heating 90's. humidity is ok around 25-35, i put water in there so hopefully itll help raise it a bit. Thanks alot for the info.

    UPDATE:

Plants are getting better not as droopy, and the main stem is straightening itself out from the transplant job that i did for them (which i shouldnt have). Been bending the leaf sets down a bit so light can shine on the new sets that are forming.

Got a fan in there but temperture is still pretty high around 81-90, idk y :(. Might be turning the 2 intake fans into exhaust as well.. remember somebody telling me its better to have negative air then positive if u guys get wat i mean.. hope thatll help.

Light schedule still at 24/0, Keeping it that way for another 16 days or 23 idk.. 16 days would be 3 weeks, 23 more would be 4 weeks of veggie. wat do u guys think?

what u guys think about the plants? getting fox farm nutes and stuff hopefully this weekend?

    tvo

PS if u guys wanna no anything about how im growing or my setup just ask, my first grow so idk what all i should be posting up. THanks guys :D

  19. you gotta get those temps down, your plants will do better.

  20. @bennihana ah i did. just lettings the roots grow a bit.

@L1feG1ver yeahh dude, any tips on how tho?? i got 3 exhaust fans, all cfm, the bigger of the 3 is on a 12v dc, other 2 on 5v dc, gonna get 12dc for em soon (more power = more circulation), also got 1 intake fan, sadly running on 5v dc :((. also got a fan in there called "turbo" to circulate.
