Turned up leaves

Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by Stevie23, Dec 30, 2020.

  1. Could anyone give me info on why some leaves are upturned. My PH is round about 6.8. Theres no nute burn . Using organic BAC bloom with fishmix , 30l pots 600w hps. Airflow is on point. Temps maybe a tiny bit high averaging at 24.5°c but no signs of any other problems. Only happend since switching from 24hr to 12-12 cycle.

Any help/info would be appreciated 20201230_193813.jpg

  2. Generally,
    Leaves folded like tacos: heat
    Leaves twisted/upside down: wind
    Leaves curled around edges: humidity

  3. Temp seems fine at average of 24°c

    Humidity is 50%

Could be wind but would that cause hooking of the tips?

I've learnt alot over the years and there's is mixed information regarding this subject

  4. Usually the tips "hooking" is caused by your nutrients. Seeing as you recently switched to flowering, it's entirely possible that you have nothing to worry about. Doesn't look bad.

  5. Yes i thought as much. Ive giver them some fishmix which usually perks them ul a little in my experience. Only 0.25 per litre to start off and see how we get along. Thanks for the reply.

  6. Upturned tips has usually been a very early sign of needing k for me. Followed by necrotic spots on upturned tips and upturned/burnt-looking leaf serrations. Sounds like you're on it. Cheers
