Hey guys, here is an easy way to turn your iPhone into a very powerful microscope to examine trichome development and stages. It cost me about 2 bucks (and an iPhone of course, or possibly another phone) Supplies needed: 1. Laser pointer (Usually a buck at the dollar store) 2. Bobby pin (Also dollar store) Instructions: 1. Take apart the laser pointer and find the small magnifying glass inside 2. Take a puff 3. Put the magnifying glass in the bobby pin and secure it to your phone (See pictures) 4. Take another puff 5. Congratulations, you can now document you trichome stages with pictures! Note: It takes a steady hand to get clear pictures, and as you can see my hand was not so steady
U can also buy macro lenses for your phone on amazon for 2$-10$ and they come with 1 macro lens, 1 fisheye, and 1 zoom lens.
