Would I get more out of my bud if I took 4g's of dank and made hash out of it? How much kief would I get out of my 4g's of dank? And how much hash equivalent? Would it be worth it? When Im talking 4g's dank, attached is an example of the bud.
Just smoke the dank man, save random shake/stems/trim and shit for making hash, unless you have access to really cheap dank
why wold u wanna do that? how much kief u get is relative to the type of bud it is, pretty hard to tell froma pic
takes like half oz to an oz to get a gram of hash(good quality, you could make a lot of low quality qwiso), so unless your getting those at 20-30 bucks its not worth it

I mean, for cost effective-ness yes. If you are getting more than a gram, maybe 2 from an oz, you are going to be extracting a lot more shit than you want to, lowering the quality. Gram of high quality hash, isnt worth more than 20-30 bucks, i dont care what people sell them for. So if you buy an oz of dank, your likely going to be paying way more than you would be for the worth of the hash it would produce. Simple math right there. For people with cheap access or growers, its well worth it, thats most certainly true
I don't have any experience with hash, but I really can't see why anyone would bother making it unless you're selling it at a jacked up price. Like, it makes the potency higher, but at the cost of most of the weight. The best case is that smoking the full amount of hash will get you as high as smoking the full amount of bud. More likely is that you could screw up or do some part of the process wrong and have it end up being less potent, in which case you just wasted time/a little bit of weed making a different form to smoke. I guess if you were selling, you could raise the price a ton and it wouldn't matter to you how good it was... Can someone explain this to me?
lol course i will say sometimes if you have the extra cash its nice to buy a buncha dank and make it into some oil... i dont generally go for kief hash, just use what my grinder gives me, but i make qwiso on the regular and my friend used to make oz's of BHO weekly and now makes super super extracted oil with ether and chloroform hahaha Shits bomb
I just save all my stems, and tiny bits of shake from every purchase i make until i fills my "qwiso jar" with around an oz of material and make oil for personal use lol, well worth it, turn an oz of useless stems and shake that i dont care for into sweet sweet near pure oil
Well, yeah, obviously stems and shake would be better used to make hash than sitting in the garbage can. I'm just talking about people who try to use actual nugs to make it. Does anyone do that? It just doesn't seem like it would be worth it. I mean, you can't get more THC than what's already in it.
Using nugs makes the product taste better usually, if its BHO nugs are the best option, trim BHO is just never as good.... Stems are never as resinous as the nugs man, hence a better product, thats why i toss a lot of shake in, actually, if i pick up and still have a bit of nug left from last time, ill just crush it up and toss it in the jar too.
i wish i had the energy to make hash from all the fuckin branches and stems and trimmings i got....i sell em to someone real cheap...kid makes an absolute killing
Basically you take your plant matter and pull all the good oils out leaving behind all the other stuff. which results in a concentrated high THC resin, you also have alot more THC in the bud than say Stems or leaves therefore making your oil much more potent and getting more of it
I get how it works. I guess what I'm saying is, if you take all of your bud and make it into hash, it couldn't really get you any higher than if you just smoked it all, right? It just takes out the stuff that DOESN'T get you high, but it can't ADD more THC than you already have in the bud to start with. If anything, you could end up losing some potency if every bit of THC didn't get extracted. Obviously, I know nothing about hash, so if I'm missing something here, that's why I'm asking. lol
THC left in the resin after smoking is what is left after..well smoking the bud, so if you took that same amount of bud that you smoked and made hash out of it, its takes all the plant out and leaves just the THC, so when it burns, you get ALL the THC, not just some. It's cause THC burns at a higher temp than lets say chlorophyll..
