Is it a myth that storing in plastic containers ruins your cure? Is glass jars 100 % necessary? Just curious I am about to process and was thinking of plastic airtight containers
FACT: plastic is porous, its made of chemicals various that ain't good for weed or man I know I once stored some weed then forgot about it for months toked it later and my mouth was YUK Glass is cheap, functional so long as you put your hand inside, as a test ..before you buy so unlike me you don't get it stuck for long term I freeze it wrapped tight in brown paper or old plastic lunch boxes ...its frozen the concern is taste Learn How to Store Weed So It Lasts! | Grow Weed Easy cheers
Glass is always my choice, but it's still a good idea to pop those lids every once in awhile, bounce those nugs around and tighten 'em back up.........even after the cure is done. Good luck, happy curing, and rock on!!
half full jars as you need them to cure over time IMO its a hassle as now like me you need even more jars for the 50% full limit ...lol\ cheers
well i just jarred them in big jars not manicured yet this weekend i will sort , refine ,weigh and make a shitload of half ounce jars ready for long term take any larf or trim material and make butter and oil and or roll in doobies and give to any beggars lol but the tops are all MINE
A shitload of 1/2 oz jars??? WHY? @ 1/2 full I need at least 6 1 gal wide mouth pickle glass jars for my lil grow.
no i meant 16oz mason jars that will hold a half oz of weed lol i bought 2 cases i have at least 48 half oz of weed
Just FYI, I pack my nugs all the way to the top of the jar. Never had any issues. This 50% rule feels pretty made up.
What, if any, should be my concern about vacuum sealed bags for long term storage. At least 8 months or more. Air tight mason jars or vac sealed bags. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
