Trying to understand Organic vs Chemical soil/nutes

  1. I was thinknig about getting some Fox Farm Ocean Organic soil, and Fox Farm Grow Big and Tiger Bloom nutes. Can you get a good yield with these prducts. I don't really see how you could though. The Grow Big nute is just 6-4-4 and the Tiger Bloom is 2-8-4 - So is this enough, or do you supposed to use a lot of it or something?

Also, would Fox Farm Ocean Organic soil work well with chemical liquid nutes, like Schultz?

    What do you all like?

  2. if its a first grow just go with whats easy. get soil hi in nitrogen such as 20 10 10. then after about a month your gonna want to fert them with a fertilizer higher in nitrogen untill they start budding. use a bloom formula after that. But do not use any soil with time released ferts especcially miracle grow. I did that and a toxic salt built up when i wasnt even ferting them. I transplanted them into some organic and flushed them and they are nice and healthy now

  3. Thanks for the reply. My main concern is if the organic nutes are strong enough to grow marijuana plants with. Does anyone know?

  4. I only use organic nutes, some of which are from Russian comfrey I grow myself. Look at my grow pics for results.
