I was searching grasscity and really couldnt find a thread already covering how to make a stone piece, got a little bit of information here and there but not enough to get started. I have a lot of time on my hands and could really use a hobby and better yet a way to make a little extra money on the side. I figure it would be cool to get into stone shaping and make custom legit looking pipes that I could sell to friends or on craigslist locally. Does anyone know any thing about stone shaping that could suggest websites to check out for beginning or any good information/tips. All i found using google was information on doing large scale sculptures or history of indian pipes unless I havent looked hard enough but I will continue searching after posting this thread. Also If you have any hand carved stone pipes feel free to post pics of them, i'm very interested in seeing other work already done to give me ideas. peace
