I've been trying to LST my first grow, it looks easy enough but the trouble is my plants are really kinda bushy near the bottom, I was expecting them to be skinnier. When I bend the stems over it looks like some of the larger bottom leaves get shoved right down out of the way. Is this kinda normal? The plants are nearly 4 weeks old (Sensi Skunk seeds), I guess if they were to be stood up straight they'd be about 6 or 7 inches tall, it looks like a dwarf christmas tree with a fat arse I know I know, I need pics, but my camera batteries are dead
Don't worry about the leaves being pushed out of the way, they will correct themselves or absorb light the way they are. If you want a bit more space between the nodes, so its easier to LST. Move the lights a bit further away for a few days, and the plant will stretch for the lights, space out the branch nodes, and makes LST easy.
