Trying to figure out the Amp ratings for my circuits

  1. I checked my panel box and only saw something that said "Interruption Rating: 10,000A" which I hope means the panel box can take 100 amps. Now how do I figure out what each circuit can take? I've heard both 15A and 20A are popular, which is a pretty big difference.

  2. The breaker switches in your panel box should have a number on each of them. 15A, 30A, etc.

  3. To be honest if you can run a cooker on your circuit board then I am sure your setup will be just fine. Most household cookers run on a 30 amp fuse the same as a shower unit which by the way are both the biggest power draining appliances in your home. Fans for your setup will run on a small 3 amp fuse and lighting should run on a 13 amp fuse so I should imagine your setup would be just fine. If not try using some CFL lights which will only use a small amount of the power than HID or HPS will use.

    Hope this helps.
