Trying to Catch Problem Early - Help!!

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by sun_blazer, Aug 29, 2009.

  1. My 2 white widow plants each seem to have a different problem developing. I wanted to nip it in the bud before I make it worse! Please help!

Both are in week 3 of flowering. Last week I slowly switched over from Grow Big (N) to Tiger Bloom(P, K). I have also been feeding Big Bloom which is pretty weak.

    Plant #1 ph has been about 6.5 - 7 while plant #2 has been 5.8 - 6.3.

They are in different soil mixes: plant #1 is 60% organic soil/40% FF Ocean Forest while plant #2 is 100% FF Ocean Forest.

Today, I fed #1 some Grow Big and Beastie Bloomz, and #2 just Beastie Bloomz.

Plant #1 looks to be a N deficiency: <--- This first 3 pics on the left
    - leaves turning lighter green
    - some stems purple color
    - tips turning yellow

Plant #2 looks to be a Potassium deficiency: <--- The last 3 pics on the right
    - leaves are a dark green
    - tips turning a color but it is very hard to tell

Can someone please confirm and give advice on feeding?

  2. Maybe a SLIGGGGHT nute burn on the first pic, but overall they look fine. I know it's hard not to want to baby every little thing...

  3. Don't worry about the big fan leaves during flowering...

They look fine to me too...

  4. Exactly..if it somehow does continue, just update your post and we'll see what we can do! :D
