Trying hydro again

  1. My first try was perfect but I had to chop the girls down before flowering. The 2nd and 3rd attempts failed. This is my fourth time and here is what it looks like so far. I'm a noob. White widow.

  2. Looks like a little nute burn, go slow with the nutes.

  3. A little!? That's an extreme nute burn!

You're about to fail your 3rd hydro attempt, unless you do this immediately:

    1) Drain and rinse your reservoir.
    2) Fill with clean filtered (or distilled) water.
    3) pH down to 5.8.

Do not add ANY nutrients until the cotyledons start turning yellow. And when you do, start with 1-200 ppm, and ramp up to full strength by adding 100 ppm each day or two.

Report back after a few days, let us know how it goes.

  4. I changed the water. I think they're doin a lil better now.

  5. I just cropped 4 diff strains of which one was white widow. I found it was the most sensitive to the higher nute levels I run. Suggest you start low with them, especially when they are the size in the pics

  6. Hi.. What nutes are you using? What is your Ph and PPM? It's common for new growers to over-nute our plants. You also have to make sure that you keep your Ph between 5.3 and 6.3, with the optimum being 5.8. If the Ph gets too high/low, it will lock out various nutrients.

    Good Luck!
