Try and help me understand ratios better

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Lemuel001, Jun 4, 2019.

  1. Lets use a a CBD strain of 1:1 if i'm not mistaken that is equal parts of THC/CBD.

So what would the difference if something is 5:5? Just confused and I would like to understand this better, I have tried to look it up online but I seem to come up dry on that type of ratio :)

1 more question, is the first number usually THC or CBD?

  2. I have no idea really except for the actual ration bit.

1:1 is equivalent to 5:5 - Just stated differently, or for some reason broken down into 5 parts a side instead of one.

  3. Gotcha, I had a feeling that might have been the case especially since I really couldnt find that ratio online. Just seems to make the most sense to me. Thank you :)

  4. I think that you should ask in the medical forums.
The ratio is the same, but the 'portioning' may not be.
That is to say, I buy 20.20.20 fertilizer.
I can, also, purchase 10.10.10 fertilizer.
The ratios remain the same, but the 'portioning'... oh, boy!
I do NOT do edibles... there are forums dedicated to such.

  5. I might do that, tyvm for your suggestion. Have a smokey day! :love-mj2:

  6. A strain with 10% thc and 10% cbd is a 1:1

    5% thc and 10% cbd is a 1:2

    5%thc and 15% cbd is a 1:3

    3% thc and 15% cbd is a 1:5
