Trump's Red Line

Discussion in 'Politics' started by scurfer, Jul 21, 2017.

  1. Seems ya'll need something fresh to chew on. Robert Mueller sees something in Trump's business dealings that warrant further investigation. That's Trump's 'red line', Don doesn't want anyone to see his business dealing that isn't related by blood. How soon till we see Big Daddy send over the Capitol police to escort Mueller out of his government office building?

  2. The smear campaign against Mueller is well and truly underway already. Trump is trying to claim there is a conflict of interest in how he was appointed.

Trump's main bankers Deutsch Bank have already been contacted by Mueller, that could prove very revealing.

I'd imagine Trump is more fond of white lines rather than red lines, it would explain the manic outbursts and unpredictable behaviour.

  3. Looks like the money laundering is going to be his Watergate.

FOX news headline. Is Money Laundering Russian gangster money illegal- everybody does it?

  4. What Russian oligarch doesn't want clean money so he can move to West Palm Beach and live in Trump Tower and become a happy go lucky playboy capitalist?

  5. so...lets make a hypothetical here. Lets say you were interviewing for a job P. Lets also say that there were several other people who interviewed for this position. Its a pretty important job in law enforcement. Hypothetically, of course. Lets say that the company hires you to do this job. Sounds awesome right? Hell yeah. But then say that one of the other people who interviewed for the job, had suddenly been hired to investigate you, and this guy has essentially unlimited power and unlimited resources.
How would you feel about it?
Probably not very good, whether you were innocent or not. Say you didn't do a fucking thing, ever, total saint. Have nothing to worry about. But every time you turn on the tv, or open a paper or a magazine, you read that you are guilty. You see pictures of people beheading you on tv, plays depicting your untimely demise, rap videos showing you getting shot.
Oh yeah, lets also hypothetically say you have young children, who would be old enough to see and hear these things.
Every time anyone talks about you, they talk about people who helped you get elected, about investigations, about guilt. About treason!

Lets say that the person who was hired to investigate this whole fiasco, was turned down for the job that you got. And that this man has also hired numerous people/lawyers who are known opposition members that are part of this "investigation". This investigation started because the best friend of this new investigator, got fired. And, this best friend even testifies that he not only leaked classified info, but did it on purpose so that his best friend could be hired to investigate.

How the hell would you feel about it? Probably pretty pissed off I would imagine, I know I would. Just look at what happened the last time there was this kind of special investigator. It started off with investigating a real estate deal and ended with the president being impeached for lying about getting fucking blowjobs in the oval office. How the hell would you feel P?

  6. Bloomberg reported Thursday that special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating Donald Trump's business connections to Russia. "The roots of Mueller’s follow-the-money investigation lie in a wide-ranging money laundering probe launched by then-Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara last year," the Bloomberg story says, attributing this information to "someone familiar with the developing inquiry but not authorized to speak publicly." (Bharara was fired from his job in March.)

Meanwhile, new reports about the individuals who attended Donald Trump Jr.'s infamous Trump Tower meeting last June all seem to have one thing in common: dirty money.

  7. They may find out that his business dealings are far more questionable than the actual "collusion" situation.

Seems like the business loans and ties to the murky characters are more indicative of the nature of his corporate organization rather than any political mischief.
Still, if he goes to jail for breaking SEC regulations that would not be so bad. If crooks get exposed in the process so be it.

  8. Agree, I can't see Trump being that political, Big Don is just another 'Useful Idiot' the Russian strive to cultivate.
Dirty money; however, is right up Dig Don's alley. There is even the stink of Don dealing with people that also deal with Al Qaeda. Meanwhile there is an empty Trump Tower, completely built but abandoned in Baku Azerbaijan.

  10. The whole thing is Trump's fault.
If he kept his mouth shut there wouldn't be a special council digging around.

As biased as I think it is, he dug this hole for himself.

  11. Is this all the evidence Trump loyalists need?

    Seems bulletproof to me.

  12. I'd expect a bit more from the POTUS. Obama had every insult known to man thrown at both himself and his family throughout his 8 years on the throne and never lowered himself into the sewer that Trump resides in.

Never once did he throw a Trump like tantrum.

  13. When has Fox News or any other news organization called Obama a gangster, scumbag, lowlife, pig, ect? Never has a president been treated this way before that's a fact. At the end of the day most Republicans hate the politically correct so complaining about it will fall on deaf ears.

  14. Trump is undoubtedly a bigger douchebag than Obama was.

Obama was a pretty cool dude as far as his public persona is concerned.

Big time corporatist warmonger.. But definitely not as much of an asshole as trump.

Even trump supporters have to admit that he's an asshole at the very least.
Not saying he deserves the treatment he's getting from a biased press, but the guy is a fucking asshole.

  15. He is absolutely an asshole. People love to hate him. It's disturbing how much BS people will believe about him because of this. The media have abandoned all pretense of being impartial.

  16. He brings on a lot of the bashing that he gets himself.
He just doesn't know when to stop.
Even when shit starts going well he does something stupid, like that nonsense about sessions in the nyt interview.

If he's so upset about his treatment by the media, then he should stop feeding them.

I'm not condoning the media treatment at all.. I think it's disgraceful, but he doesn't help himself one bit.

  17. Never before has a POTUS acted like a 6 year old kid whose bag of sweets was taken off him. That's also a fact.

As AW has pointed out Trump is an asshole. If you act like an asshole you deserve to get treated like an asshole.

  18. Yeah I think that has a lot to do with his gigantic ego. He really shouldn't be giving interviews to the New York Times ffs
