  2. Well sure, the entire country could starve and my life would be unchanged. Kind of sucks for the Venezuelans though.

Sometimes intervention is the right thing to do. Excercising power isn't inherently immoral.

  3. As a part-Venezuelan, I would approve of the war just for the sheer entertainment. :jump:

You know Putin and Maduro are fuckbuddies, right..

  4. We should just leave them alone and let communism wipe them out

  5. We'll then obviously the US will never attack Venezuela since we all know that Trump is a kgb plant.

On a more serious note, what's so entertaining about innocent people being killed?

  6. Nope
Just think of the Taxes it would cost us to rebuild that shithole of a Country
And we don't need another 30.000.000 on obama care do we.

  7. Taxes?
They'd use American companies to rebuild. Most likely large campaign donors.
    Jobs, jobs, jobs! MAGA

  8. Think of the Billions in military costs and than the government rip off on over price items and construction costs.
Not to mention the cost of young lives .

  9. But we can make more bombs which will create more jobs.
And they can just send the trans folks over there to fight.

  10. just playing devils advocate, but this is why the military industrial complex would like us to invade all over the world. More money being poured in means more jobs, regardless of how you look at the reasoning behind it.

Now that being said, fuck venezuela. I know they got oil, but in my opinion they are just another shining example of socialism. They are a great example of how socialism devolves to communism and how closely linked they are. And watching that country implode could be used as a great rallying cry for anyone not left of center.

But they could just pretend that American is the war torn Country and spend that money right here at home rebuilding our own failing infrastructure , no?
War is not the answer in this day and age anymore.
Shit might as well have everyone push their buttons all at once and be done with this nonsense.
    Shit is so Fucked ....................................................
perhaps the end of the world is coming.............................soon.
I wish i had the answer, I really do.
Screw The Oil, we never take it anyway
We allow them to over charge us when they sell it to us after saving their ass
    So why bother.
Besides we all as a World should be using alternative power sources as the German have been doing for quite some time now.

  13. I agree 100% with you no doubt that money could absolutely be better served at home. WE have streets and bridges that are crumbling. Schools that are failing, ect. The list goes on.

America has access to all the sources that germany uses, however the major issue is our demand is way higher than germany.

  14. But the technology is there

  15. I agree, it totally is. I did read an article that a few years ago it would have taken an entire states worth of wind turbines and solar panels to even put a dent in californias usage, much less everyone else. A state like north dakota, for instance. I'm sure the technology is moving along and getting better but that is the biggest problem, imo. A solar panel you install on your house still would take years and years to pay for itself just in what you use.

  17. It would be very, very hard for any president to convince the US to go to war anywhere new right now. Minor military operations not counting.

The only way the actual nation would support a full blown war, is if another major attack were to take place on US soil, or some smaller world leader goes full blown rogue and starts invading the modern world en masse.

No lukewarm or halfway convoluted reasons to invade another nation will do in 2017, especially considering the problems we are facing at home.

  18. Venezuela has always laid claims to the Essequibo region of it's neighbor Guyana. Recently a major discovery of OIL has been found.

With a Major Oil Discovery, Guyana Is Poised to Become a Top Producer

The CIA is a deep state and has been known to have ops running propagating disinformation. Strange how people from the around the world are so aware of this, but many here aren't.

The US involvement into all these foreign countries will have blowback as for mass immigration.

The immigration we're having now is due in part to the failed foreign policy.

I'm agree with George Washington farewell address, let's not get entangled within foreign affairs, let's do exactly what Trump wanted to do during his campaign focus on America and MAGA.

  19. That's not the entertaining part of war..

The entertaining part is watching the US refusing to learn from the mistakes of the past, and letting Reality speak for itself and bite the warmongers in the ass.

Since voting doesn't change shit, and arguing with people only reinforces their beliefs - we may as well just let them implement whatever shitty policies they want .. so they can see for themselves what works and what doesn't.

  20. like what happened with the ACA? gotta pass it to see whats in it. worked out well for everyone here, no doubt.

I would actually counter that having someone like donald trump elected shows that the votes actually do work and regardless of how much media noise is created by fake narratives, he is still trying to get his shit through. Theres a reason he was elected and it really does go beyond all the hillary bullshit.
