  1. I have 3 plants about 1-2 weeks prior to flowering, I’m having multiple leaves and bud sites developing what look to be burns, my nutrient EC/Ppm aren’t high and my runoff is 1.0 with proper ph. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  3. I'd go with deficiency, pics of entire plant help. Potassium if I had to guess from photo alone.

If its closest to the light only not under growth could be light stress. Why entire plant pics help. Also allows to see if it's a immobile or mobile nutrient which helps too

  5. Yea I'd stick with deficiency, if you're not allowing plant to sit in water or if the roots dont stay too wet at the bottom. Root issues can cause white fades as well. I'd use defoliation to allow light penetration losing alot of light shading the center of that plant. See about 8 fans that could go

  6. I have them in 5 gallon fabric pots on pot risers to avoid reabsorbing any run off. Do bump up feed? I’m using 3/4 strength of their chart.

  7. I'm not guessing.

Post your feeding schedule, amount, medium, and age.

  9. What's b52 and why is it applied more than the other nutrients. I've never used advanced nutrients only fox farms when I did use liquids

  10. I also have been wondering that... (And I too primarily have experience with fox farm liquid nutes)... But I saw he's growing in coco so I'm useless here.

  11. Advanced Nutrients B-52 contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5 and B7, seaweed and kelp extracts. Found it

From what I read a is amino acids and what not b52 is a mix of low npk and b is where you're going to get most of your nutrients from. I'd up my b nutrient may lower the other 2 to equal everything out whereas you're still feeding the same amount just supplementing the extra with B. I understand that nutrient line is supposed to automatically balance ph, however checking medium conditions should always be the first priority when a issue arises. If ph is off that'll hinder nutrient consumption which will cause either deficiency and or toxicity/burns. Changing feeding without knowing if its needed can compound the current issue and really devastate a grow. May want to get this moved over to the hydroponic growing/coco section for better clarification. Personally I grow in soil, deficiency is that but as for advise most of us in this section will be limited.

My knowledge pertaining to coco is
    Never let coco go dry
    Feed early
    Feed every watering.
    That's very limited lol

  13. Might reach out to AN with those pics, especially the last one, and ask then why your plants are getting potassium deficiency this early. They might diagnose it as something else, but looks like potassium early on.

  14. The b52 is new to me I was gifted yesterday, I added it to my feed at the recommended dose. I think it’s just b vitamins and aminos.
I’ve found they’re a bit hard to get ahold of. I’d assume they’re answer would be I’m not using full strength feed. Mainly for a fear of burn, but would it be a good time to up my feed?

  15. Different strains can show deficiencies differently. What you have looks like the start of a potassium deficiency. If the the dead parts of the leaves are thin and feel like rice paper, then its almost certainly potassium def.

The challenging part is that there is also tip burn. The mechanics behind tip burn are a bit more complex than simply 'derp too much nutes!' as its often nothing to do with nute strength, but is instead simply hydathodes getting sap squeezed out of them due to changes in temp and humidity. When the air goes from pulling tons of water out of the stomata to barely pulling any, it takes a little time for the plant to change what its doing. Leaves stop pulling water, but the roots are still pushing it. With all the stomata closed, the only route to relieve the building water pressure (aka turgor) is out of the hydathodes, which are specialized stomata-like structures. Sap oozed out the hydathodes on to the leave tips (especially side tips) and dries. Get enough dried salts on the leaves (yes salts, whether running organic or salt, it all salt on the inside), and the leaf material can't take it, and develops necrotic areas where the salt 'burned' it.

Having said all that, if the nutes are heavy strength versus light strength, it is more likely that the leaves will burn if the hydathodes puke out sap.

For diagnosing too much nutes, it is often good to look at the other signs too. Are the tips curled down (nitrogen toxicity 'claw')? Are the too dark green?

Since you are late in flower, caution is advisable. If it were my girls, I would bump up the Potassium a bit. Here are some pics of potassium deficiencies:

  16. which line of AN are you using? I’ve had great luck with the PH Grow, micro, bloom but this run I went with the sensi line and have been battling deficiencies the whole time

  17. Im running sensi grow currently along with the b52

  18. Im still in veg luckily, I’m waiting to flip until I key in the issue, I’m slowly increasing the nutes. I’m up to 1.5ec and they have seemed to perk up a tad. My next feed will be at 1.6-1.7ec

  19. Get rid of those sucker leaves

  20. I think to many sucker leaves bro
