How the hell are people saying this was a good movie? This shit was HORRIBLE. I watched it last night in IMAX 3D at 12 midnight showing after smoking a 3 gram blunt and 2 joints with kief between me and 4 friends. The acting was some of the worst ive ever seen. The fact that it was PG and a Disney movie reflects how childish this movie was. The only good thing i got from this movie was a laugh every now and then from such corny ass lines. I saw it in IMAX 3D so did enjoy the effects and it was a blast in that respect. But this movie was a huge disappointment. Could've been made and done in such an epic way.

People do have different opinions, but there is a certain common standard of what constitutes a good movie, such as acting, effects, plot etc. The acting in this movie was horrible. Those cheesy punchlines that got thrown around with those awkward facial expressions every 5 minutes or so in the movie were bad acting. i dont really care why you went to see it. it doesn't change the fact that this movie was horrible and the only people who say otherwise are people who are nostalgic of the original or 13 year old kids who dont know what real action is. The only time there was actually a fight scene it lasted what? 10 seconds? and then you didn't even see anything happening. give me a break. This movie would of been badass with a different director, different set of actors (Olivia Wilde could stay, she was the only thing that kept me from leaving), and if disney didnt produce it. Give the concept of this movie to paramount and slap a r rating on it or at least pg13 and you would of had a complete different movie. one that was actually good.
Yeah Disney wasn't about to sell the rights to one of their biggest movies ever. And maybe it was because you were blazed that you thought it was shit. I saw it sober and thought it was boss. I have seen the original and love them both. Does that mean my thoughts on the movie are accurate? No. Does that make yours correct? Fuck no. Just because you think the movies sucked due to "bad acting", and "no fight scenes" doesn't make it a shit movie. If you'd have payed attention the movie revolves more around the Tron world itself, not the fact that their data dicks can be thrown around and kill people. And Maybe it's me, but I have no fucking clue in the world how anyone can say that the light bike scene wasn't epic. Next time maybe look past the acting and lack of fight scenes when watching a movie. If you can, you might see why people fucking love it so much. I mean come on, the CG in that movie was phenomenal.
I wasn't going to see this until I noticed that Jeff Bridges plays a role in it. That might make me shallow, but I don't care.
the effects were good, the sound track rocked, great acting, hot babes, good weed. but the movie cut out for ten min. twice in my movie theater and it kinda ruined the effect. daft punk cameo was epic

Never been a fan of TRON, but i was debating whether or not to go see this movie. I can happily say that this post basically single handedly confirmed my decision to not see it, simply for the fact that i can see everything in the post unfortunately ending up being true. Thanks for the review homie, now i can save my 11.50$
I have watched it's trailer yesterday. It seems to be an amazing movie. I am planning to watch it soon may be on this coming weekend. Hope I will enjoy this movie as I have enjoyed it's trailer..!!
