hahah, the computer kind, not latex. anyways, i think my other computer has one. its really wierd now. doesnt work. lots of pop ups. just wondering if anyone has any tips for me.

yea man, they have free spyware and adware progs. adaware is a good one. Use 1 ad prog and 1 spy prog after another and it should clean your system out.
now what do you suggest if i cant get on the internet?? should i just download the programs onto this computer and burn them, take em upstairs and load em up? or would there be an easier way to go about it??
if thats last resort, then yes. or, you could try booting up in safe mode with networking. if you have windows xp, restart your computer, and keep pressing f8 right before it goes to your windows loading page. it will bring up a selection to boot in safe mode, last know good configuration, ect.. choose the boot in safe mode WITH networking. it will load up windows in real small resolution and messed up colors, but you shouldnt get any spyware to mess up your internet while in it. download the program, and then reboot like normal and install it from there...
I would say to use a combination of adaware and spybot search and destroy. Each picks up some that the other won't and they don't conflict with eachother.
