Well, I'm planning a trip to Canada with my father. We're trying to decide where to go. I've heard good things about Whistler.... and Vancouver of course. What types of things should I check out, and how should I go about approaching the green scene up there? You KNOW one of the MAJOR reasons for this trip is to try some of this Dank ass Canadian Bud I always hear about. Any tips you could shoot me would be much obliged!! ^_^

Check out Vancouver Island, some of the best bud in the world and it's absolutely breathtaking over there. One of the biggest marijuana communities would be Nelson, but it's pretty far away from vancouver. It's also very beautiful over there.
That would be totally awesome. I will definitly make it a point to do that. ^_^ Vancouver Island sounds goods too... Nelson - damn - it all sounds so good. I could make a life out of just wandering Canada.... LoL. I have quite a lot of things to Consider... I'll share you the plotted course here once I get a rough outline of the stops I'd like to make.

oh yeah! nothing like the old Canadian Ballet! made several pit stops there in niagra falls. they got a new casino upt there if ya like that sort of thing. check whos at the molson ampitheater in toronto, you can always find a good show there. and every body is sell bud there! We once went to an R.E.M. concert there and met Mike Myers. He was cool but didnt want to smoke with us funny thing about toronto is the city just shuts OFF at 1:00AM. so plan accordingly!
I've read the guide for Vancouver and it's just not true. Hastings is a terrible place to buy pot, and you can't just ask people for "buzz". LOL... we used to have DaKine and that place above the amsterdam but all the other places that sell weed over the counter have been privatized. Your best shot at finding weed as a tourist is along the granville strip or on the robson-side steps at the art gallery. Weed is expensive downtown especially during the summer because there are a shitload of tourists with alot of money. Moving into the suburbs it gets easier to find high quality weed at a good price but again you'd need contacts to buy weed out in the suburbs.
i'd say Vancouver, but that s only because i hear it's the hollywood of canada. and there seems to be a big weed influence there. but ya, anywhere in canada is better then the US.
Man, I'm moving to canada in a few years. Im stopping by all my canadian buddies on the city first.. Then im off to Edmonton.. Work for a while.. Then probably move to BC. I hear awesomet hings about Toronto.. But I hear even more awesome things about BC. Rasta Man. Make way, I'm comin up.

There's only one place you should visit: Montreal baby! We fucking rock. If you come to Quebec, you should also visit Quebec City, which is also a ton of fun and has loads of history behind it. If you're gonna stick to the west coast though, definitely check out Nelson, it's an awesome town and you can just march into a shop and buy buds over the counter (I ain't kidding!) Personaly I'm not one for the big cities, but if you are then of course Vancouver's a killer town (stay out of the downtown eastside though). Vancouver island is really the shit though, especially if you're a nature lover. Glad you're coming to visit, I hope you have fun!
