I have a bagseed plant that's been vegging in my closet for about 3 weeks now. It's getting to be about 1ft tall. I just wanted to know when the best time to trim fan leaves is. My plant is branching pretty well w/o much effort on my part, and I'd like to get as much light on those side branches as possible. Should I hold off until flowering?
At 1 ft tall leave the fan leaves. they are powering all the growth for the nodes they are connected to. if anything i would top or Fim the plant now if your concerned about height or just want two bitchin colas.
wait till its 2 foot tall and then cut off all the fan leaves except the top three sets and watch it turn into a giant bush
