Trimming

  1. I've been told that Northern lights is notorious for the large fan leaves. But can I trim them? Or would that be a loss of vital leaves? I'm about a week and 2 days from flipping to flower. Was trying to clear space for some more LST. 1577503439615.jpg 1577503474312.jpg 1577503511053.jpg

  2. Take them off , especially if they are dying or blocking flower points

northern lights are well known for big fans that much is true by the looks of it you have tucked 1 big fan already tucking is a nicer way of clearing blocked tops. Fan leaves are vital for strong growth and they are vital for a plants overall health and they are full of stored nutrients waiting to be used at the end but if you cant tuck it then lob off just dont go crazy you need them solar panels :)

  4. If your going to defoliate, I would do it like 5 days+before flipping to flower. Sufficient recover time for the plant
