Trimming Sugar Leaf From Live Plant

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Cannasouer, Sep 7, 2014.

  1. Well basically, I ran out of weed, my guy ran out of weed, and my back hurts like a b*tch. My girls are about halfway through flower, and I'm wondering if I can trim off a few bowl packs worth of sugar leaf, dry it, and smoke it. Will taking the sugar leaves off while the plant is still living and in it's flowering cycle mess anything up?

  2. Why don't you just grow more weed? A 1kw light will produce more than enough for personal use.

I've been sampling my buds for the past 2 weeks (ready for harvest tomorrow, week 11 of 12/12) and I'm blown away at how much the potency increases over such a short period. Anything that's not close to harvest isn't worth smoking IMO and removing sugar leaves will hurt your yield, putting you in the same position next grow (running out).

    tldr; I wouldn't
