trimming rootball in DWC

  1. So just a throw out questions to all you dwc enthuthist...Pro/cons of trimming rootball in dwc. Do you do it? When do you do it? and what size res are you using?

  3. There's no reason to trim the rootball, unless it's clogging a pump, or drain hole or something. The roots grow in proportion to the green part of the plant. If you trim away part of the roots, your plant won't get the proper nutrients. It will refocus its energy on growing roots back, until it's balanced again.
     
  4. Don't mess unless there is a very good reason....let them grow. Bigger root....bigger fruit.

  6. Yeah, no root trimming. Did you read that somewhere? I've never heard someone ask that.
