I'm trimming most of my fan leaves directly off of my plants now, but I'm still leaving the buds and obviously the branches on also, to grow some more. Is this ok? We had a lot of shitty rainy damp weather in the last week or so. It's sunny now till Saturday.

I'm getting some mold, not bad but needs to be addressed. I cut off all the small areas of mold on the buds that were effected. Wasn't too bad.

I figured I can aerate them better if I trim most of the big fan leaves off. Your thoughts.

  2. It shouldn't hurt. I wouldn't take the smaller fan leaves and sugar leaves yet of course. But I have pre trimmed my plants in the past, a week or two before harvest and trimmed off all the larger leaves and it didn't seem to bother em.

    Why?

  5. Because there is no aeration, and its time to harvest soon next week anyways .. Read my first post.

  7. Cool, I'll probably do this all the time now in mid to late September. So I don't get any mold.
