Trimming lower branching

  1. Well the best thing about cannabis botany or growing anything is that this is my 3rd year outdoors and I'm still learning new things. I have a purple haze plant that has been flowering for a few weeks outdoors now, which is close to 5 foot. Now I've tied her down bent at about a 40 degree angle. I have been thinking about taking 3 or 4 lower branches off as the plant may not finish in time anyway. What is the best way to go about this to not stress the plant. One branch a week? I've read this lets the higher up branches flourish more. Will this benefit me at all but I am worried because it's already started flowering and do not know how that will affect her.

I will upload some photos when I get home from work. Thanks for listening!

  3. This late in flower I don't think you will have any problems only removing a few lower branches.. really doubt it would herm on ya. It will also let the plant focus more on the other branches that matter the most!
