Trichromes won't mature

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by fuckinpaulie, Apr 3, 2016.

  1. Hey guys, ive been patiently waiting for the last 12 weeks for my bud to be ready but I seem to have hit a snag in the maturing process somewhere. I started flowering on Christmas day so they should be more than ready but my problem is only about 1/2 of all the trichromes are cloudy yet despite the time they've flowered. At this point I don't want them to go any longer but I was wondering if there are any suggestions to making trichromes mature. WP_20160318_22_47_40_Pro.jpg WP_20160318_22_09_48_Pro.jpg

  2. Try waiting for them to finish, looks like they have a ways to go yet. Start your count from the day they started showing pistols, not when you flipped I would say those buds compare to week 5-6 on most indica strains I've grown.

  3. I got them from clones that were already budding because they were cut off a female a little late so I just threw them straight into 10/14 and that's what they've grown into.

  4. Also ive been having issues keeping them green. Like everything wants to turn yellow and fall off.

  5. What strain?

This leads me to believe they're somehow stunted if flowering progress has slowed to a crawl or stopped. Unfortunately that could be 100 things. Ph off. Over/under watering, heat stress, over nute, too much salt in soil, root issues, etc... Many factors here. You practically went right into flower but the buds appear damn small (no offense!).

Per the pics, you don't look particularly yellow or brown. Perhaps a bit dry leaf wise. Some yellowing may happen just because nutes and energy are diverted to the buds.

If you're half cloudy it may be worth a full flush, some root treatment, and very very very light flower nutes if any at all. See how they respond and adjust accordingly? Just my 2c.

  8. I gave them a hard flush of clearex last night and about 2 weeks ago when I first noticed they stopped. They've been on a very strict feed schedule using only botanicare.

    Cal-Mag 5ml
    Fulvex 5ml
    Karma 5ml
    Silica 5ml
    Rhizo blast 5ml
    Bloom 15ml
    Hydroplex 3 ml

And they're sitting under 2000 watts. My run off ph is consistent at 6.0 and I water only when I can stick my finger down about 2" and not feel much moisture. Up until the 5th week on my schedule I was doing foliar feeds weekly using fulvex and neemoil

  9. I have heard haze strains take a longer time in flowering

  11. I'd say just wait it out. What strain are you running? There are quite a few out there that can take 3-4 months to finish off.
