I'm trying to buy a decent bike and figured Trek's were the way to go. I'm about to buy a Trek 800 of someone for $200 (going to talk him down to $150), anyone ride these bikes? My spending limit is...no more than $200.
I had one for a while and it was great. It went wherever I needed it to go (including woods) and never broke. If you're looking to go a very long distance it might not be ideal because it's heavy, but for general purposes it's fantastic.
