All the clones died... I used a dirty pair of scissors so I should have known.

I have a problem with new growth is coming out all twisted and mangled.

Otherwise, just vegging her out for a bit...

  5. Equipment checked off the list...

    2 1000w lights
4 inch duct fan just to cool the lights.

Just waiting to build the tent and a few other things and we should be good to go.

  8. 2x2 won't be enough room when that one plant is mature. If you can go at least 3x3. 4x4 would be better. That plant is going to stretch plenty when you flip her.

You have a good start on last so l would put up a SCROG screen and keep on spreading her out under it. You might be surprised how many nice buds are produced.

    What are you growing?

  9. Yeah I'm just using that box until I have a new veg tent built.

I will be running a 4x8x7 flower tent with 2 1000w lights, 2-4 week veg 64 plants. In each 4x4 section. Perpetual.

I'm just killing time with this plant (lucky female bag seed) until I have all the funds in order (about a week). I'm going to grow it out as a mother plant but when I get some quality seeds I'll start getting those in order to be mothers.

I know this thread is pretty boring but stay tuned. Big plans...

  10. Sounds like you have it preppy well covered. I'm sure you'll do fine!

Don't wright off bag seed weed until you've tried it out. For several years I didn't grow. I only bought and sold enough to cover my stash. During that time if I found myself stoned before the first bowl of the day was done, if there were good seeds in it I saved them. I've grown from 2 of these batches of seed and they were both pretty good. I lost one when the heater went out of control. The other is still being grown after about 6 yrs.

  11. Yeah I'll keep a bunch of clones from this and See what happens. I just got a free 400w grow light that I'll use to flower this girl so I have something to smoke on while I wait out the initial harvest.

  12. I just got a AgraMax Induction growlight for vegging. I've been using a IndaGro Induction growlight for flowering for a couple of years and love it. A 200w Induction growlight puts out as much useable light for plants as a 400w HID does, and the bulb will last for 100,000 hours. That is about 11 years of vegging!

  14. Are they're any that are equivalent to a 1000w hps?

  15. Yes. A 400w is said to be the equivalent of a 1,000w hps. Google IndaGro.com and htgsupply.com. I use a PRO200PAR from IndaGro for flowering. It works better than 2 240w Blackstar LEDso did on only 200w. I've been using it now for about 3 yrs.

I've never used a 400w hps so I can't say from personal experience how the induction light compares, but I have friends that do and I get similar results.

I recently have been fighting powdery mildew and spider mites and have gotten very poor harvest the last there times and I'm really low on stash at the moment. But I'm only a few days away from harvesting a Critical Widow that I bred from Whitworth Widow pollinated by Critical Mass. I'm sure anxious to sample her and see what I have!

  16. It appears to me like the plants are overwatered. Now, this may not be that *you* are overwatering but more so that the soil itself is too dense and is not aerated and draining properly. Cannabis prefers a very well draining soil.

This is very easily fixed by repotting into soil to which you have added 20% to even 30% aeration in the form of Perlite, Buckwheat, rice or cocoa hulls (dried seed pods), pumice - etc.

At your plants age(s) they are not using much water at all. Transplant into a well aerated soil and you should see them perk up and start growing nicely fairly quickly.

Excessive Nitrogen can also produce "clawed" leaves.

  17. LED grow lights are not the equivalent of an HID. They are NOT the equivalent of a induction growlight either.

  18. About a week ago, I let it dry out really well and then watered lightly and she blew up really nice. I didn't add any perlite because I honestly just was trying to kill time growing something while I set up this 8x8 room. I didn't known it was female until a few weeks ago. I think you are right about the overwatering though, I know for a fact I over watered a few times when the roots weren't as established.
