Ummm, actually, no. A 30 year old man, attracted to a 13 year old girl is NOT considered pedophilia. I know because it happened to my BEST friend. He was 21, met a very pretty, very intelligent girl who was 18.... or so he thought. She had tattoos, piercings and a list of past sexual partners. When he told her he didn't want to see her anymore, she ran to mommy and daddy, who immediately pressed charges. He never registered as a sex offender because 1.) SHE LIED AND HE HAD PROOF and 2.) she was over the age of 11 (i believe). I can assure you, this day in age 13 year old girls are NOT children anymore. Further proof, i have two nieces, aged 13 and 14. While they are still terribly naive, they do not ACT or LOOK like children. In order to be a pedophile you must be ATTRACTED to prepubescent little girl (or boy). And I don't know about you, but when i was 13 i had been "fertile" for 2 years, some girls , in my grade, just recently, but all had recieved their periods. I know, it's fucked up. But my question still remains. Why is it mostly males attracted to little boys or girls and not as many females with the same condition?

I'm not saying there aren't female pedophiles, I'm asking why it's ALOT less common than males. Is it related to they fact that a 6 year old boy cannot reproduce and that's why women are less likely to be attracted to it? Or is it something else?

That's a good point. I have to wonder too, is part of it maybe that women just get caught less? Is there maybe a... what word am I looking for... an "animalistic" (sure, fine, that works) kind of reasoning?
