    So tomorrow i am bringing my unused piece on a plane. I do not know if i should put in carry on luggage or checked luggage. I just want as little hassel as possible.

    I just flew 2 pieces from aspen Colorado to Chicago. I flew back a few days ago. you will be fine if it is clean. I just wrapped mine in a shirt and put it in a bag. I checked it in.
