Traveling with bud?

    Okay, so i'm going on a 10 day trip to ireland pretty soon, and i'd really like to bring some herb. not too much (probably just 2 or 3 grams) because i wont be smoking every day. my main concern is how i should go about packing it up, because these are some really really smelly buds. anything to recommend?

    Im thinking vacuum sealing it if it really stinks. And put like a car air freshner inside your bag too.

    smell permeates through plastic, but not glass

    i would use a Kerr or some other brand canning jar, maybe put the bud in a bag (air tight) then put that inside the glass jar.

    i have glass canning jars that are supposed to be airtight, but the smell still seems to come through. not as much as it would if it were just bagged up, but still enough to make me nervous.

    does anyone think its too risky and i just shouldnt travel with it at all? are there strict laws about smoking pot in ireland?

    Glass canning jars are only air tight if you do the whole "Submerge in boiling water" process, grab yourself a mason jar mate :)

    i have heard on good authority that the following works if you are only taking a small amount.

    buy a stick deodorant and take the bottom off. scrape out an appropriate amount of the deodorant - you are making a spot for the weed. Put the weed in a small ziplock, make sure its sealed well and put it in the bottom of the deodorant stick. replace the bottom of the plastic dispenser and you should be good to go. you could even use the deodorant a few times to make it look good.

    the glass jar thing probably works too...maybe im really high, but wouldn't they see the jar if they checked your bags?

    take a peanut butter jar and take out alot of the middle. dont get close to the walls then wrap up the bud in plastic wrap many times to make sure no peanut butter gets in it. then put in the whole and put the peanut butter back.
