Traveling To A Medical State

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by solidgreen420, May 29, 2013.

  1. I live in a non medical state and I'm traveling to California in a week and a half is there anyway of getting a medical card. Or is there no hope for me haha

  2. if you got one in california it would still not be legal in your home state. so why bother/spend the money?

  3. You have to live in CA and have proof of living there, I'm pretty sure. At least I had to show proof of living there and my medical paperwork to the doctor.

Seriously though, if you're gonna be in the city just go outside on a Friday or Saturday night and try to buy some off of someone. There's plenty of people out and about smoking in the open in the city.

  4. No you can't get one, you need proof of residence. But it shouldn't be hard to find somebody with one to help you out, what part of Cali are you going to?

  5. You must be a resident of the state AND PROVE IT as well as have a legitimate MEDICAL diagnosis/history of a qualifying condition...

Don't be one of those assholes that game the system and cause everyone else harm by doing so.

I travelled to CA within the last month (I'm a registered patient in my home state) - and could not find a dispensary in the Bay Area that would dispense to an out-of-state patient complete with all necessary documents.  That'd make me pretty sure they won't approve you w/an out of state address.

If my memory serves me right, Rhode Island, Arizona and Montana are the only states that allow out-of-state medical cards.  There might be one more but I'm getting old and my synapses keep misfiring.  I need a tune-up.

  8. Arizona is a bit weird, they acknowledge the right to possess, but do not allow out of state patients to use the dispensories. :smoke:
