Soon I will be in a location to buy some nice clones, but I won't return to the grow room for four days. I do have a weak fluorescent I planned to set them under for three days. The other day will be in the trunk. I'm not real sure about this and wonder if the clones will make it, or turn hermaphrodite or ?? I have real issues getting seeds and this is an opportunity, just not sure it's viable. Any advice? Edit: to be clear I have to drive to get the clones, then bring back. I will be near where I can buy them then three days later return with them. Question is will they survive being away from a grow room and in a car for such along time. Thanks
^^^ ? I'm currently facing the same dilemma. If they're mature then they should be able to handle one day of weird light with no adverse effects. Provided you get them regular again as quickly as possible.
Most automotive stores (esp. One that has RV stuff) can hook you up w a 12v light. Cut a hole in the top of a cooler so the light can get in along with a couple of vent holes. I moved coast to coast w my genetics during the summer with this method. To keep the plants cool I put those blue ice packs in the bottom with a towel over them. When I got to a hotel I just threw a blanket over the cooler lid, shoved the cord I rigged up under the blanket and walked around with it like luggage, sometimes with heat present. They can take quite a beating in veg without herming up on you. Can't say that while there in flower tho... have a safe journey
