hey guys When April comes along I plan to veg a couple plants for about 2 weeks. Then I will be transplanting them to different locations. Can I just dig a small hole and transplant the plants into it?
You have the right idea...except the hole that you dig in the ground should be filled with the best potting soil you can get. 99% of the time you will find poor soil to grow cannabis. So you have to supply your own.
The hole should be atleast two feet deep and two feet wide. That is the smallest hole that you should have. Depth is more important than width. An option is to use 5 gallon buckets with drainage holes as pots. Put the 5 gallon bucket directly in the ground. It helps keep the plant shorter as well as keeps the roots/pot cooler = less watering. Also another good point about pots is that your grow site is mobile. If you ever need to move your site.
