Transplanting from aerogarden to soil

  1. Need some help started my first plant in the aerogarden 3 pod. I need to switch to a bigger soil medium. shes 16 days old is it too late?? should i just keep her in the aerogarden?

  2. It's doable but switching a plant from hydro to soil is very stressful.

Only suggestion I have is to keep the soil constantly moist for a while after transplanting.

  3. Is their a certain way to transplant? what soil would you recommend?

  4. Let it settle a bit before going back under the lights.

I transplanted before and the plant didnt suck up any water and just baked under the lights, all the way to a crisp. I touched it and the stem broke in half.

Transplant, water well, and let em chill for a bit.

  5. Make sure to water the soil BEFORE you transplant, and then water it in small amounts and keep the soil moist. I regularly transplant from my aerogarden to pots with great success. Just keep in mind it's coming from a rigid watering routine so it takes a week for them to harden up to the soil.

  6. Thx everyone very helpful information :)
