Transplanting auto DURING flowering

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Motocole85, Aug 31, 2019.

  1. I have a big auto in a 1 gallon pot. It's about week 3-5 flower not too sure.

Wondering if I can transplant her into a 5 gallon air pot? I think I can remove the rootball without harm. Or is it better to just finish her out in the 1 gallon

  2. Little late imo as when you pot up the plant will put more energy into growing roots.

  3. I'd let her finish in that pot, then go much larger in the future.

  4. Soft sided containers like that air prune roots the prevent becoming root bound.

They can also be a pain to transplant since the roots grow into the cloth
