Thoughts on these small spots that appeared overnight after transplanting to a 3 gal container. Idk if it’s from transplant stress or if it has a deficiency. I did test the ph of the soil which is fox farms ocean forest soil and it tested right around 6.5 but I did not test for sodium. I’m also using a fox farm fertilizer regiment and watered the plant with the recommended blend of big bloom omri listed fertilizer. Also using reverse osmosis water source with 0ppm and 0ec. Utilizing an ac infinity grow setup with light 3ft from canopy at 100%. Temperature and humidity is being automated to remain at 76 degrees and 80% humidify with a relatively steady 0.53-0.68 kPa for vapor pressure density. Following the vpd chart from mintropy.
Approaching nute burn IMO: I often advise growers who use FFOF to mix in 25% perlite to dilute these hot effects, add even more if you desire to add your own nutes later, and you have, few would feed after an immediate potup as you, OMRI means its organic which in nth 'merca means very little, watch close for the next 4 days right now as these are very young hence tough IMO gently extract wash roots in air temp water gently and re insert to a 50/50 mix of perlite and FFOF no nutes for 2-3 weeks good luck
I did a little reading on the amnesia strain and I’m seeing a lot about foliar spraying directly on the leaves as a way to fertilize. Now when I transplanted and watered with fox farms big bloom 0-0.5-0.7 fertilizer at the 6tsp per gallon ratio I used a pitcher and some of the fan leaves did get the fertilized water directly over them. I think this might have been a contribution to the little signs of burn I noticed over night. Today I did roughly a 1.75-2 gal fresh water flush of 72 degree 0ppm water out of our ro system, including wetting down the foliage with the pure water to try to flush some of the nutrients. Seeing just the slightest progression in the plant with very few new spots showing up.
Not really noticing any new damage to the plant this morning, did a little more reading on foliar spray and how if fertilizers are applied in direct light it will burn your plants so allowing the fertilized water to run over leaves during transplant could be the cause of my problems.
Plant is still looking really strong and healthy, nipped off the very first leaves it sprouted today as they were looking a little sad and no longer getting any direct light, my other plant that started later is starting to look pretty good as well. Has anyone ever tried to intentionally stall a plant that was further along to prevent it from choking out a smaller plant?
plant near the top looks very healthy but lower leaves no longer getting light from above are starting to look worse, also note that the leaves looking worse are also the same leaves that got burnt from the foliar watering. Any experienced growers care to comment on the health condition of her. Also here’s our blue cookies strain that I’m concerned is a little far behind.
Amnesia is starting to get grey/purple spots on fan leaves, I watered it today with cal mag regiment. Is this a cal mag deficiency caused issue or nutrient lock?
