so i have a few questions. My plants are now 2 weeks old, and have a couple sets of leaves. I transeffered them to 4.5 gallon buckets with some organic soil, peat moss, and perlite. During transplant, I kept the root balls in tact and set them in the new soil. I covered them appropriately but some didn't seem to be as 'grounded' as they were in the previous soil. It looked like they have a bit of trouble standing at first, I manipulated the soil around them to give them a firm base, but I;m wondering...is that okay? does that happen ususally? Also, what are some signs of either a successful or unsuccesful xfer. I also have FFO plant food....when should I begin to incorporate that?
Nothing wrong with having to prop them up a bit with new soil until they dig in the new medium. As for food follow the schedule ONLINE not what is written on the bottle. http://www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf EVERY OTHER WATERING, and be sure to start out with like 1/4 DOSE ...
