What up GC, OK so today i transplanted my lady into the ground. Yesterday i did it perfect, the soil from my 5 gallon pot did not come apart. Today was a different story. The soil broke apart and exposed all my roots on one side. I put the roots in the ground the best i could, i really didnt wana touch them. My question is how much damage do you think that caused? They have vegged on 18/6 for 30 days and she is about 9 inches tall very healthy. Hope i didnt screw it up.
No problem, they'll be fine. I've done that a dozen times, as long as your soil is good and your plant is healthy, she'll rebound in a day or two. I've had roots just dangling after half the soil crumbles away, just be gentle, that's all.
