Transcendency of a Dream

  1. We all have it - that natural drive that feeds your animalistic desires to "break free". I've always just wanted to jump off the freight train of life and float for a brief period of time before returning to what must contine. Or does it? If you haven't figured out what I'm saying yet, I'm saying for the longest time I have dream't of getting up and just leaving this place. Not forever, maybe, but just for some period of time.

Well, thursday afternoon I'm doing it. My bud and I got about $1800 and a one way ticket out of here, and heading up north to stay with a friend. We're only taking a few things: clothes, lb. of bud, some ecstasy, shrooms, acid, and two cartons of cigarettes.

This will be a time period of which I will do a more, varied substance use, than compared to any other time. I will be sure to note my experiences that I shall encounter on my journey as I will be taking a journal with me.

Alas! the forbidden fruits were eaten,
And thereby the warm life of reason congealed.
A grain of wheat eclipsed the sun of Adam,
Like as the Dragon's tail dulls the brightness of the moon.

  2. subscribed.

i anticipate your relayed storys of your journey.

i too have thought of similar things, why, only just a few posts ago on my irl friends forum i said how i intend to walk to japan. what a walk that would be, i'm thinking at least 3 pairs of shoes, surely.

  4. At some point in the future my buddy and I plan on hiking the PCT (Pacific Coast Trail). It goes from Mexico to Canada. http://www.pcta.org/about_trail/overview.asp So yeah, I know what you're talking about. :D

  5. video camera would be cool...good luck and be safe...most of all, have fun

  6. I am sorry to inform those anticipating to read my experiences, but there had been a significant change of events, as I have had a dreadful encounter with Big Brother and his disciples.

    Relax!

Everything will be fine. Instead of writing about my experiences on my would-be journey, I have yet a new foundation to write on.

And once again, man's desires to excape were haulted by a black iron gate guarded by two lions gnawing at the bones of the dead...

  7. NOOOOOOOO

I wanted to read this shit... goddamn...

  8. ha, a minor setback. you shall prevail when you are ready. :)

  9. "All we need is just a little patience..."
    -Axl Rose

The minor setback has sparked a new desire; a desire to leave indefinately.
I want to move far away from here, i want to live in a place where you don't need a car to get around - just a bicycle, and where your not surrounded by assholes that are too impatient to be happy and enjoy life. I want to live in a little place called Holland.

Of course, good things take time, and great things happen all at once, so when the times comes, I want it to happen all at once!;)

  10. i was reminded on my long weekend partying just the other night, that in amsterdam, you can effectively pick up any bike and just go with it, cycle around as you please. how about that for a utopian vision for solving transport problems and health in one go!
