Trading For Pot (not CASH)

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Lerf, Feb 8, 2011.

  1. So... back in the good old days if you ever reached this stage, you run out of money; you then run out of weed. Ever call up your dealer and ask him what size shoe he is hoping he can fit in your Jordans? What would you guys trade of yours for bud, realistically; something you can afford to lose.
Mine would be a pair of Jordans ~175 retail in exchange for an eighth

  2. Or...just don't smoke until you have money to pay for it...

  3. I know people who have bought weed off someone with WoW gold :hello::hello:

Shit like iPods, computers, laptops, consoles, shoes, smoking tools, more weed... More weed.

Edit: Lol, I thought this was a thread of what I would accept in exchange for weed, not give. Fucking fiends lol.

  5. A very long time ago I remember selling a few video games to help buy my first ounce. My previous dealer (my best and favorite as well.. sigh) took music equipment a lot in exchange for bud. Guitars and amps mainly, but mainly it was $$. This was only a few months ago, so there are definitely dealers out there that don't just take cash.

  6. OMG I can't believe I never thought of this shit when my dealer played it. Fuck I've been playing WoW forever, I coulda just been like "Dude throw me a twin and I'll send you 20k gold."...Fuck that woulda been awesome.

Anyway....I've traded an old bowl for a 20 sack, a scale for an eighth, and an iPod Nano (After I got my iPhone, no need for it anymore.) for a quarter. I also sold my Xbox 360 to GameStop and ended up blowing the money on weed, but that was unintentional. I just didn't play the xbox anymore and figured I could use the extra cash. haha.

  7. Why trade, just sell the shit and then use the money.

  8. never give up items for weed.

especially being foolish enough to sell a pair or ~ 200 dollar shoes for 30/60 bucks of weed

    /megafacepalm bro :(

  9. It's better to skip those dreadful steps of selling the item first.

  10. I have used gift cards before. But if your going to trade something that you enjoy using or having, you have a problem dude.

  11. traded some homebrewed mead for some greens once....also a LOOOONG time ago when I worked at Taco Bell in highschool I'd trade choco tacos for pot lol

how desperate do you look asking your dealer to give you weed for some shoes?

edit: to answer your question, so i dont look like an asshole: the only time i havent paid for weed with money is when i used to work at Burger King and my dealers would come through drive thru and they'd say "yo hook me up for free and i gotchu with some bud." and even then, i wasn't stupid. if i gave them 20 dollars worth of food, i want a dub, dammit.

  13. Maybe they didn't fit him anymore so he had nothing to do with it.

  14. even if that was the case . . .

    :hello:

  15. I would trade shoes, xbox, tv, ipod, phone, movie or sports tickets, anything along those lines

  16. a 2000 BMW was once worth 40,000 dollars new.. Then you drive it and fuck it up and wear them down and you can find one used for 5 Grand.

  17. What's wrong with giving up items for weed? Besides the obvious, the bud will turn into ash and the items will still be there. However, people pawn/trade stuff all the time---for various other consumables (food? Maybe take someone out to a movie?)

If someone wants to part with an item to gain monetary value, there's nothing wrong with that--and if it's spent on weed then so be it. I doubt many people out there CONTINOUSLY just trade their stuff for weed because they're some crazy ass weed fiends who never have cash or anything. And if that's the case, well--they'll soon run out of stuff.

  18. you didnt mention your sneakers were worn down and fucked up. who would want them anyway?

  19. sack of marbles, an old tire, a jawbreaker, some fishing lures, you know just normal stuff people want

  20. Jordans for an eighth!? not sure about that bro
