Do Not Track Plus Few friends told me about this add on you can use to keep people from tracking the things you visit. Might do some of you guys some good.
I don't think you have anything to worry about if you are just posting in the majority of threads, if you are a grower and post pics of your grows with details and such then it might be a good idea to use tor or another type of system that prevents the tracking of your internet activity. I've been using this forum for almost 10 years and I've never seen a single post about somebody getting busted because of posts on this forum. Getting busted by their parents finding out they post on here happens occasionally though. The only way I could see somebody actually having information they post on here used against them is if you were a grower for example and after you got busted they seized your computer and dug up information from your browser that linked you to a particular user on the forum, then they could possibly use anything you said or pictures you posted as evidence, but it is very unlikely. Unless something in the pictures were undoubtedly identifiable as belonging to you or in the place in which your grow was busted, you could always say you just found the pics on the internet and lied about them being yours, but if they are just pics of plants or weed you've bought, you probably don't have anything to worry about. And if you're not a grower and just smoke, then you definitively have nothing to worry about.

I get worried that the site doesn't support https so that anybody can see what I'm sending on the wire. That scares the hell out of me actually.
Is there something like Tor that isn't so crazy slow? Maybe its my computer but pages that would load in a couple seconds take 30-40 seconds to load with Tor. Suggestions?
They dont have the resources to be targeting all of theses doofuses trying to grow a couple plants in their closet. Unless you are a big time grower and seller you arent a target.
I think the government has better things to do than track computers of a bunch of stoners. Its really in societies best interest that bud be legalized anyway (stoned people aren't violent) and they probably realize that but are too corrupted by money to act on it. As far as this goes I'm really not too worried about it. Been posting on here for 4 years and never had a problem.
I can't believe that all of my fellow blades are so scared of this illusion. You see, they've already won. They've already caught you all in their web and you're scared stiff. You all believe that this government of ours is so powerful, and it may be, but will you let it run your life? Force you to hide in the shadows with your beliefs and keep your mouth shut? NO. You don't have to be a part of all this. IT'S AN ILLUSION. Your life is your life, the world belongs to nobody, and as long as you can realize these things, you have nothing to worry about. I mean, I wouldn't let them hold me against my will for putting a seed in the ground... If they tried, I would simply move. I refuse to compromise. The government is powerful, but they are only powerful against a scared stiff society who won't stand up for what they believe in.
lol, not that I like it but yeah I get scared about this sort of thing. I use proxies whenever I can (though it doesn't work well because this site requires cookies). I use HTTPs whenever I can as then my stuff at least isn't flying around in t clear, including your user/password for this very site scary I encrypt my hard drives/personal folders with government grade encryption. You can't be forced to incriminate yourself by providing the password, so lock it up! Why this site doesn't support HTTPS makes me want to find a new one or a proxy setup that works with this site. Love this community so far, but ... not worth the risk in my opinion.
