Topping question

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Bigfoot14, Apr 24, 2020.

  1. My plant is out growing my box. I flipped to flowering 2 weeks ago, and the plant has already more than doubled in size. My box is 3' x 3' x 6'6"

Can I top it or is it to late?
If I can top it, how much can I take off? The plant is about 4' tall, and fills the box wall to wall.

    Thanks in advance

Why wouldn't you want to top a plant that tall? Just asking cause when I grow outdoor I top em multiple times, even after they've reached this height just as long as they aren't flowering yet. Just curious for the reasoning of why you wouldn't.

Edit: nevermind this lol... I missed where he was already in flower SMH lol

  5. If you started your 12/12 2 weeks ago . No.
Your plants will STOP growing after 2 weeks of flower 12.12
But if you had pics so i can see what the deal is its possible your plant MIGHT be better off topped then doing nothing at all if space is a issue , Right now buds are starting to form no more veg growth .

  6. Topping after flower a no go. Supercrop them and all will be good.Just stake the supercrop branches to secure them when you supercrop, them since they are 4 feet tall
