hi well i just wanted to know how to top or pinch a plant....my grow area is perfect i live in the mountains so no niehbors and choppers i ain't gotta worry about so the size of my plants can become trees if they want lol...anyway i know i should top at about the 4th or fifth node but i'm not quite sure how to top or pinch a plant, a visual or clear picture of exactly were to top or pinch would be great and also i want the most yield i can get outta every plant this is my first grow though and i don't wanna ruin my crop by getting ahead of myself i currently have about 60 seedlings and i'm hoping for 35 surviving females........anyway another question is can i top at every node? i heard you should only top when ur plant is vegging if so how do you know when ur plant is vegging and when it's not.......... so case in pont when should i stop topping.........i'm just looking for simple and easy answers cause this shit gets pretty confusing.........thanks all info would be great pics coming soon.........

thanks bro that answered alot of my questions and thats what i was lookin for to but one question still remains how do i koooow when my plants outside are vegging and when their not?
By how many pistils they are flipping. If it looks like buds are continuing to form its flowering if it has very few pistils sand continues with top new growth it is flowering.
thanks mann i can't strees how big of a help u are iv'e been on so many diffrent sites tryin to figure this shit out and you answered ALL my questions in five minutes......... but let me get this straight when ur plant only has those little ass buds or pistolos whatever u call em at each node and they stay the same size pretty much their still vegging and i can continue to top but whe they look like their starting to grow that means they've entered the flowering stage and i need to stop topping?
Hey bud thanks a lot and my pleasure. Its really hard to know. You should stop all prunning after about maybe 4 weeks into flower, but its really hard to know when that is. Tipping the colas can be done after that. Maybe you can leave a picture of the plant so I can help.
definitly will do i've tried growing before for a couple years striahgt when i lived in the city but the first time they all got sick and died ,,,,the second time police raided my house for my older brother lol popo took my plants,,,,, and the very last time before i moved here i had em up to the fourth node and i was just gonna learn how to top my plants lol but yeah the coditions where i live are perfect and i got plenty of room so i think imma have a decent grow,,,,,imma start a grow journal tonight and imma take pics this week to for the journal imma add you to keep u updated and if i have any further questions is it's alright......speaking of u sound like u grow how's ur garden comin along?
