My clones are about 5 days old from being transplanted? I was wondering when and how should i top the plants? It seems like the new growth is very crowded and hard to cut off the part I need to. I know I need to wait it out but how long? just click to make pic bigger
It is better to wait until you have new shoots coming out from the nodes below where you are going to top. If it were me, i'd grow the plant until there are 6 or 7 nodes, then cut the 4 branches from the lowest 2 nodes (nearest the soil), then cut above the forth node, leaving 2 nodes to grow 4 branches into 4 colas. Also depends on how big you want the plant to grow in veg.
