Hey everyone I went in to top my plant yesterday and fuck, I missed. Instead of cutting of just the main stem I cut off the main stem and the pair of nodes as well. Will I need to re-top or is my plant chillin?
You're joking right? While I've never done it, I think you fim'med it and "F**k, I missed" is what fim stands for and have read that is exactly how it was discovered... by mistake.
I know what fimming is but the fim was not intentional if I did fim it. I may have fimmed it correctly or incorrectly topped and cut off the new growth nodes.
I tried it once and it did not work... I must have done it wrong and ended up topping it a week or two later because I wanted lots of branching for a scrog. They are strong-willed plants, i think it will be fine either way. We'll see what it does.
