Topping/ Cloning

  1. I was wondering if I take the cutting of the chutes from a topped plant and use that for a cutting of a clone? Sorry if this is a dumb question. :D
  2. that will work, though generally, the top of plants are harder to clone than more mature branches.
  3. Ok thanks for the answer man...I'll keep that in mind. :hello::hello:
  4. You can do it just fine. I top/clone my plants at the same time. I use the top cut as my clone and then start the rest of the plant on a SOG. After your clone has rooted (2wks) you can then start it on 12/12 while the mother plant remains in veg. screw what that other guy says, he's an idiot. :smoke:
  5. no he's not an idiot...he's right. A lower branch is easier to Im not saying your cant clone the top but it will prob take longer to root.
  6. I root cuttings from tops all the time. No difference in the amount of time it takes.
