Topping an Autoflower?

    Does anyone top or fim their autoflowers? If you do,,how many nodes should there be before you pinch?

    I don't do it , They have limited life period and topping , fimming may reduce the total yield you'll get.

    as lizard says ,dont top an Auto ,,it just doesnt have the Time in Veg (around 3 weeks) before going in to flowering mode ...mac

    I'll be growing outside. Germinating inside under florescent , GreenBud

    Some strains can be topped .... At 3 nodes . BUT no more.
    Others will stunt if you fuck with them . Autoflowers will throw pistils around Day 30ish or so.

    I have topped mostly sativa dominate strains ... LST is what would be a safer method of controlling plant.

    Just like this .... One time .
    Then as she goes thru a stretch in early flower , start LST ( carefully ) on branches then let her do her thing.

    Thanks Budz, We ( my brother and I ) are in the Northeast so we only get a 5 month outdoor season. We have on-hand 24 imported seeds 3 different varieties, indicas, all are auto-fems. I think we have room to experiment a little. Hoping our harvest lasts us through the winter:)
