I read this guys post on another forum about topping your plant to get 4 main colas instead of 1. What he does is grows the plant until it has 5-6 true nods, and then he cuts just above the 2nd node. Isn't that like inches of plant cut off instead of the half inch topping I read about? A couple of things. Does this sound like it would work? Also, if it does, are there any disadvantages to it? ( too much stress, more bud sites/colas but lower quality of bud etc....)
