  1. Anyone else obsessed???:smoke:

  2. I wouldn't say obsessed. But 10 meals for a dollar is unbeatable.

  3. i have these phases every couple of months where i eat them for a week straight. not because i have too, but because i want too. i only eat the chicken flavor, never the beef.

after boiling the noodles for about 5 minutes, i add the flavor, then crack an egg open and mix it all together. FUCKING DELICIOUS! :yummy:

thanks for reminding me that i have to buy some more.

  4. don't like top brand, maruchan is where it's at :smoke:

  5. QFT, beef is so fucking good. Damn now I wanna go smoke an L and make some ramen.

  6. Stirs the appetite C:

  7. does anyone else mix the flavors together? chicken goes really well with something else, but i can't remember now...

  8. Now I do haha.
I think its chicken that mixes well with orinatal and beef. my flavor buds are danceing around.

  9. This might be weird but I usually get the beef teriyaki and drop some frozen peppers and onions in it. I get a bag of birdeye pepper stir fry and put some in and its so good! Those vegetables seem to go well with the flavor and its still cheap as hell. You just got to add two or three minutes to get the veggies cooked. Try it sometime...you will thank me!

  10. Before becoming vegetarian 7 years ago, I used to eat Maruchan. I went years wishing I could find a brand I could eat, Top Ramen came to the rescue with Oriental and Chili.

  11. someone post a damn pic

Thats not as weird as my Ramen habit lol I bubble up my Chicken Ramen then drain all the water, then i put fresh lemon and Tabasco on it. It may sound weird but I'm telling you get baked and try it its freaking DELICIOUS :yummy:

@docleary Mixing sounds like a good idea I'm going to try that!

  13. i too used to enjoy top ramen

until i came to japan. now the thought of top ramen disgusts me
you guys should come to japan for a ramen tour. ill be your guide.

  14. Pork is actually the best flavor, all of your opinions are null.

If I can't find the elusive pork flavor, I go with beef. If I can't find beef, I do chicken. But if I have chicken I put chalula hot sauce in it. Not because it's hot because chalula is bitch sauce, but chalula tastes fucking good in chicken ramen. Drain them juices first yo'

  15. Yea my dude drainage is a definite, I take my Ramen dry no ice lol:p

  16. I buy the generic fresh then sealed in package udon noodles,

1 boneless skinless chicken thigh or breast puck, chop into small bites
1 small tennis ball sized onion, chopped into bits
1 carrot, peeled and chopped into bites
1 stalk celery, chopped into bites
2 cloves garlic smashed or 1 tsp minced fresh in a jar stuff - the ginger garlic combo is good for this
2 cups chicken broth [i make chicken broth myself, but you can use the stuff from a can or box. cubes are way too salty]
toss everything except noodles into a sauce pan, set heat on medium high. Cover and go away for about 5-7 minutes. Come back, it should be to a good strong simmer, stir it to make sure everything is mixed up and covered in broth. simmer for at least 10 minutes or until the hard veggies are soft when piked with the point of a knife. Add noodles, cook until the noodles are done.

Season with a bit of soy sauce and [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Polar-Hot-Chili-Sriracha-Sauce/dp/B001NNO3OC"]sriracha[/ame] sauce. Nom.

You can do it with beef or pork, or shrimp but if you do shrimp add them after the noodles are almost done because it only takes a couple minutes to cook a shrimp. You can also chop up and add peppers and mushrooms, really any veggie you like. Shredded cabbage is nice - and you can toss in some kin chee if you like it.

  17. Drop an egg in it, add some of your own spices. Can be very very boss.

  18. I can tell you why you're obsessed. Top Ramen contains MSG. MSG is addictive.
